Commission and Recruiting
Your commission is 35% and you keep your commission right at the sale. The customer
pays you directly, then you pay Kat's Coffees & More™, minus your percentage. You
will earn a $12 commission credit once your recruit places their first order (sorry,
starter kits do not count). You will also receive commission credit for all consultants
recruited by your downline.
1st downline = $12
2nd downline = $8
3rd downline = $4
4th downline and below = $1
Your commission credit will become available to you as soon as your recruit{s} pay
for their first order. Kat will apply available credit to orders when available.
Please note, no commission will ever be paid - it can only be used as a credit on
an order and it can only be used on product, not shipping.
NOTE: Kat accepts checks, money orders, payments through www.Payal.com, Visa or MasterCard.
Star Recruiters and Sellers
Each month a consultant is the "Top Seller" (sales at 35%), they will receive $15 in
commission credit, a 1 year order page and the start of an Italian charm key chain.
After being the "Top Seller" for 6 months (does not have to be consecutive), consultants
will have received a total of $90 in commission credit, 6 years of an order page and
an Italian charm key chain that spells out 'I love to sell' (1st charm) along with a
Kat's Coffees charm (Kat's is a coffee cup) plus earn the title of "Star Seller".
Once a consultant has 25 members in their downline, they will be considered a "Star
Recruiter". On June 1st and December 1st of each year, all consultants who are in a
downline that consists of 25 or more will receive a $5 commission bonus just for being
in that Star Recruiting downline.
Quarterly Order Requirement
In order to stay active as a consultant, you are required to purchase $50 retail of
product at your 35% commission once quarterly (Jan-March, April-June, July-Sept, Oct-Dec).
The other option to remain active each quarter is to purchase $250 retail at a percentage
greater than 35% off. This would include, but is not limited to, birthday kits,
party kits, monthly specials, discontinued items and/or case pack pricing. This
can be single or multiple orders for personal use and/or customer orders. Kat
understands that unexpected situations can sometimes occur which make meeting a
quarterly order a hardship. For this reason, Kat offers a one time extension to
those who need it by sending in an email, fax or letter by mail with a request for
an extension. Once granted, the consultant has until the last day of the next
quarter to place the previous and current quarterly order due.
Starter Kit
The start up fee is $5. This covers the administrative fees of adding you to the
website, consultants group, chat group and providing you with your consultant
number. Paperwork may be purchased through
www.expressionsonpaper.com. Kat also offers duplicate order forms for 11¢ each + shipping.
All black and white catalogs are available in the files of the consultants group
for those who wish to print their own. You can use the company order forms or you
can use order form booklets that can be purchased at stationary/office/other stores.
There are also various promotional products available through
www.cafeshops.com/katscoffees.
You have 2 options to choose from for products for a starter kit and will have 1
month from the time you enroll to choose the option which is right for you. Please
note: You are not required to purchase any products for a starter kit but it would
be helpful to you if you had "tested" some of the products.

Hostess Benefits
For every $50 of customer orders turned in, receive 1 item for 50% off.
For parties up to $150, receive 10% of all orders in free product and 10% off their
personal order.
For parties over $150, receive 15% of all orders in free product and 15% off their
personal order.
Receive $5 in free product for every booking (show must be held before hostess
receives the free product)
Total all the orders from the party and you will take your percentage from that.
If the hostess orders more than just her free items, subtract the total of the
free items and take your percentage out of the leftover balance.
Party Hosting Information
Arrive 30-60 minutes before the party to set-up. When the first guest arrives, or
5 minutes before the party starts (whichever comes first), start brewing the coffee
and tea. Greet the guests as they come in and hand them a folder. In the folder,
have a catalog, a recruiting sheet and a pen. Once everyone has arrived, have
everyone introduce themselves then play a game - this gets everyone happy,
laughing and at ease. After the game, let the guests get their coffee/tea,
dip and whatever dessert/bread item that has been prepared. While they are
enjoying the goodies, give a short spiel about why you sell for Kat's and
what the hostess will receive for hosting the party. You can also give the
hostess a free mix or 4oz bag of coffee at this time as a "thank you" for
having the party. Then do another simple game - usually some type of quiz
about the presentation/products - whoever answers the most questions
correctly gets a prize. Then open the floor for questions, take orders
and/or book parties.
Yahoo Groups
You will be invited to the Kats Consultants on Yahoo groups upon receiving your
payment to join. This is where all consultants can meet and learn from each other
and answer each other's questions. You can find files of the catalog and helpful
business tools to help your business grow. We have a weekly chat to learn about
upcoming changes, new items, network and get to know each other. You will also
be invited to the Kats Chat Yahoo group. This is a group to learn about each
other and advertise your other businesses on Saturdays.
Case Pack Pricing for Consultants
Consultants may purchase each product sold in a case pack for 40% commission. Any item
that retails for $5 or less may be purchased in a pack of 12 for 40% off. Any product
that retails for $5.01 or more may be purchased in a pack of 6. This is to help
consultants stock up on samples for parties, prizes, personal use or to make a
larger percentage on a future sale.
Repackaging Products
All labels and packaging must be kept in tact and in the same condition as they
are shipped from the manufacturer. If at any time the buyer elects to repackage,
remove labels or deface labels in any way (the only exception is adding consultants
personal info/website info to the product packaging) all product liability that the
manufacturer bears is null and void. Kat's Coffees & More™ will not be held
responsible in any way should repackaging or defacement of labels occur. It is the
sole responsibility of the buyer to research and follow their local, state and
federal regulations pertaining to the packaging and labeling of food products.
Catalogs
Some consultants choose to create their own catalogs versus using the company provided
catalogs. These catalogs are not authorized and Kat's Coffees & More™ will not be
held responsible for the misuse of graphics, pictures or any content. Any discrepancy
in prices will be at the creators expense.
Unauthorized Products
Some companies and individuals choose to use our logo to create products to sell
for personal profit without the knowledge and/or consent of Kat's Coffees & More™.
Kat's Coffees & More™ will not be held responsible for the quality, misuse or any
nature of the use of these products. |
